Server colocation

SigmaNet offers server collocation at our data centre for both companies and individuals. Servers are placed in specially prepared premises which are fitted with fire alarms, climate control, video surveillance systems and other equipment in order to ensure stable operation of client servers. Both rack mountable and tower servers can be placed at our data centre. If you need to colocate a number of servers, we offer to rent a lockable server rack (40U) or half rack (20U).

For reliable and uninterrupted operation of colocated servers, our data centre is provided with the following:

security
Access to the building, where SigmaNet data centre is located, is available only to authorised persons. Security is provided all the time and building is locked during the night;

video surveillance and security alarm
Perimeter video surveillance is performed in the premises – rooms are without windows and are being monitored all the time;

fire alarm
In case of a fire, the alarm switches on automatically and all necessary activities are performed in order to eliminate the fire disaster;

uninterruptible power supply
The stability and continuity of the power supply is provided by UPS devices. In case of long-term power supply disruption, electricity is generated by a powerful diesel generator;

climate control
To ensure that hardware is working in an optimal mode, appropriate climate for servers is sustained in the server rooms. Climate control systems are also working during the faults of public electric grid;

firewall
We offer firewall services free of charge for the safety of client's servers. Our data centre specialists will set up the configuration; 

24x7 access to hardware
To solve encountered problems at any time, clients can access their hardware at any time of the day;

24x7 technical support
Employee of SigmaNet is ready to help clients to solve problems at any time of the day, perform system restarts and read server console messages;

fast and stable internet connection
SigmaNet Data centre is connected to a physically duplicated Latvian and International traffic capacity.

IPv6 for SigmaNet data center customers (new)
SigmaNet is using dual-stack technology enabling to use both IPv4 and IPv6 prococols concurrently. More information regarding IPv6 is available here.
