What is the FTP server name?

If you are using our service „Web hosting for websites without database support”, you have to connect to server rausis.sigmanet.lv for website content upload.

If you have a website with databases, please contact webmaster@sigmanet.lv, to find out your server name, because we host webpages with databases on several servers.

How to upload a website?

You need a FTP software in order to upload your website on the server – it lets you to transfer files between your PC and the server. Clients can use any FTP software of their choice, but user instructions are currently available only for the following software:

FileZilla
FAR Manager

If you have a website with databases, we advise you to contact the developer of your website in order to upload and update the website on our server. If it is not possible, but you have all of the needed files (including database content), please contact webmaster@sigmanet.lv for help.

Which software versions are available?

Because we maintain several servers, there is more than one answer to this question. To find out whether your chosen software version is available on our servers, please write to webmaster@sigmanet.lv.

Is it possible to install additional software on the server?

If installation of the software can be performed relatively simply, without interrupting other clients and presence of software on our server is not in conflict with our policy, (safety, legal etc. issues) it is possible. To find out exactly, please contact webmaster@sigmanet.lv.
